Horizons aren’t always flat

They said the earth was flat… until they explored it.  They said that man would never walk on the moon… until one day they did. If it weren’t for people dreaming BIG an taking chances, we would still be sitting in the dark with flickering candles eating dried out food with no or little seasoning.

Why should we sit on the sidelines and let others do the cool creative stuff? The Pacific Northwest is knows for entrepreneurialism and those who push the envelope in artistic creativity. Artist like Chihully and Gary Larson started small and kept pushing their craft until they were recognized nationally. They took their passion to a whole new level and became successes in their own eyes and in the art field.

The daily plan we make for ourselves is not always a flat, easily attained one, but if crafted and executed with diligence, it will one day lead us to a success – our footprint in the sand of life.

I am an Artist – Photographer currently living in the Pacific Northwest. My three biggest passions are family, photography, and traveling. Growing up in a military family, I have lived in and traveled throughout the United States; as well as various destinations in North America, Australia, Europe, the Caribbean, and the Mediterranean.Photography: My passion for photography started in a traditional fashion with a 35 mm camera & dark room training while in Junior High. Over the years I have practiced capturing time thru the lens using the play of light, color, shapes, & uncommon angles as some of my main focal points. Since the summer of 2004, I have been successfully selling & exhibiting thru Art Shows, various retail environments, and Stock Photography sites. My hope is to share “Scenic Experiences” from around the world with my audiences thru my photographs. Perhaps I can help you relive a memory, or help inspire you to see something new.
